BluSiren receives Platinum and Gold 2024 Hermes Creative Awards
(April 25, 2024; Jacksonville, Fla.) — BluSiren (formerly A.Wordsmith Communications), a Jacksonville-based boutique marketing communications agency, is proud to announce consecutive wins in the prestigious Hermes Creative Awards competition. This year, the agency received a Platinum Award in the Company Branding category and a Gold Award in the Magazines category. BluSiren is the only agency in Northeast Florida to have received either award, and one of only a handful of agencies so honored across the State.
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition honoring excellence in traditional and emerging media across concept, writing and design. Recognized for its rigorous judging process, the competition attracts entries from a global pool of creative professionals.
BluSiren’s Platinum Award recognizes the agency’s successful rebranding of McKillop Law Firm, a family-owned and -operated organization serving the State of Florida since 2007. The Platinum tier signifies entries deemed among the most remarkable in the competition, lauded for superior quality, creativity and resourcefulness. Fewer than 17 percent of entries achieve this honor. View this winning entry here.
The Gold Award acknowledges BluSiren’s development of a new print magazine for SEAmagine Hydrospace Corp., a leading manufacturer of personal submersibles known for their comfort, design, reliability and safety. This award signifies entries exceeding the industry’s high standards, with roughly 22 percent of entries receiving Gold recognition. View this winning entry here.
“Being a Platinum or Gold Winner is a tremendous achievement symbolized by the intricately detailed Hermes Platinum and Gold awards. The name Hermes (Greek messenger) and the idea for the award were chosen to represent our roles as the messengers and creators of marketing and communication materials and programs,” the Hermes Creative Awards team stated in a letter issued to award winners.
“The BluSiren team is honored to receive consecutive recognition from the Hermes Creative Awards,” says Amelia Smith, Founder and President of BluSiren. “These awards are a testament to our team’s collaborative spirit and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional creative solutions for our clients. I’m particularly proud of the contributions of Shannon Baldwin, who spearheaded the McKillop Law Firm rebrand, and Jennifer Bardhi, whose design expertise brought the SEAmagine magazine to life.”
Hermes Creative Awards is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, digital media production, and freelance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and awards outstanding achievement and service to the profession. This year, there were over 6,500 entries from the United States, Canada and 24 other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2024 competition.
